Technologies

Technologies by EcoMatcher that enable transparent and engaging tree planting

TreeCorder

App to easily record trees and planters information

TreeCorder is an app for tree-planting organizations to register newly planted trees and recognize the farmers who have planted the trees. The TreeCorder app makes it incredibly easy for tree-planting organizations to take photos of each tree once they are planted. For instance, the app automatically registers the GPS coordinates, the date of planting, and assigns a unique number to the tree.

TreeCorder can work in an offline mode and can upload data to the cloud when the planters get back to a mobile network or Wi-Fi, even if those networks are poor and have low bandwidth.

    • Records all tree data in one go
    • Includes information about the farmer
    • Synchronises all data to the cloud
    • Detects multiple pictures of one tree to ensure each tree in the system is unique
    • Multi-languages: English, Bahasa, Spanish, Arabic and Hindi
    • For Android and Apple smartphones

Tree as a Gift

What recipient will see first when receive tree(s)

When someone (“tree recipient” or “recipient”) gets a tree, the recipient will be directed first to a landing page.

The landing page offers the recipient a number of options:

    • Virtually travel to the tree and learn more about the tree and planter;
    • Register the tree under the recipient’s account;
    • Name the tree;
    • Download a tree certificate.

The default language of the landing page is English, but EcoMatcher also offers numerous other languages, including Spanish and Chinese.

TreeBoard

A comprehensive dashboard of all your trees

EcoMatcher’s TreeBoard offers you a comprehensive dashboard with all your trees’ data, your orders, and all your account details.

Moreover, TreeBoard shows you your contribution to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 10, 13, and 15, respectively “Reduced Inequalities”, “Climate Action” and “Life on Land”.

EcoMatcher app for Microsoft Teams

Plant trees, track, engage and share them within Microsoft Teams

The EcoMatcher app for Microsoft Teams brings the benefits of tree-planting directly into Microsoft Teams. Teams users can now plant trees, track them with TreeTracker 3D using awesome satellite mapping, view pictures of the trees and farmers looking after them, and even chat with their chatbot-powered trees and listen to ‘Forest Sounds’, to improve their overall well-being, all without leaving Teams.

The integration helps Teams users contribute to reforesting the planet where it is most needed, while providing a moment to relax in nature virtually.

The EcoMatcher App for Microsoft Teams now also offers “white labeling”, enabling companies to make it their “TreeApp”.

TreeChain

Bringing the next level of transparency with blockchain

TreeChain offers the next level of transparency in planting trees using advanced blockchain (distributed ledger) technology:

    • Every tree that has been planted and every tree that will be planted by EcoMatcher is stored and visible on EcoMatcher’s TreeChain.
    • Anyone can check any tree with TreeChain, including every tree’s transaction history. No secrets!
    • TreeChain is based on the EOSIO protocol, the leading open-source blockchain platform that enables transparency in transactions.
    • Customers can apply for a “node” on TreeChain.
    • TreeChain is carbon neutral as EcoMatcher offsets TreeChain’s carbon footprint with trees; actually, due to its smart implementation, very few trees are needed for this.
