Trees4Trees is an Indonesian non-profit that empowers local communities through partnership reforestation initiatives. By increasing the area of community planted and owned forests, livelihood assets are created, the negative effects of deforestation are reduced and the environment is renewed.

 

Adopting trees helps to finance the operation of Trees4Trees who will grow high-quality tree seedlings in their tree nurseries. They then donate the trees to the farmers. In the end, the farmer takes care of the tree and owns it.

Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. FEED supports sustainable education & tree planting, aiming to inclusively grow, preserve and protect Philippine biodiversity.

 

FEED does all this through integrated social forestry programs, community development, and research in partnership with the University of the Philippines based in Los Baños.

Tree Adoption Uganda (TAU) is a youth led social enterprise that seeks to jointly address the challenges of youth unemployment and climate change. TAU has a vision of transforming environmental interventions into a means of creating sustainable socio-economic development, proactively alleviate poverty in communities and nurture growth of socially responsible businesses.

The mission of the Alliance for International Reforestation Guatemala (AIR), is to implement educational programs and agroforestry methods in Guatemala in order to protect water sources, prevent mudslides, reduce erosion and provide more nutritious crops while protecting the Earth. AIR also provides brick stoves with chimneys preventing lung diseases.

Information For Non-Profit Organisations / NGOs

We have defined some criteria guidelines and questions for accepting non-profit organisations / NGOs specialised in tree planting to the EcoMatcher platform:

 

  • Your organisation must be active in tree planting with a track record of at least 3 years.
